Preparedness Drill Tomorrow

April 20th

7:00 pm

At 7:00 pm go to your blocks' meeting spot and check in.

Be prepared to tell whether you have your water storage, or not. (28 gallons per person)

If you don't know where that is, contact your neighborhood preparedness person.  :)

Some neighborhoods are still in planning stages and will not be participating in the drill this time around.  Comment below and we can answer any questions you may have!!!

For various reasons, we've decided to cancel our preparedness class this coming week June 2nd but plan to pick things up again in July.  July 7th Cindi Van Bibber will be teaching a canning class and it will be well worth attending!

Our Neighborhood Emergency Plan

Now that we've all had a taste of our Neighborhood Emergency Plan though the drill, come learn more about what that looks like and have questions answered:)

In connection with the Great Utah Shakeout, on Thursday, April 21st @ 6:30 pm we will be conducting a neighborhood emergency drill. Our goal is to contact every household in our area

NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNICATION STRUCTURE

In an emergency, we plan on using this communication structure to relay our needs to those who would be able to assist us. We will practice using this structure tomorrow night.

You should have been notified, by your block captain, as to where your block meeting place will be. Some areas are already organized, and some are just beginning. We will still practice and do the best that we can!

At 6:30 pm on April 21st, we ask that you go to your block's meeting place, check-in, and help check on neighbors that did not show up. This drill will help us work out the kinks in our communication structure, and help us improve and practice using our radios.
